Luss is one of the most beautiful villages on Loch Lomond and the perfect place to enjoy a family day out.

From scenic walks and boat trips to cafes, shops, and outdoor activities, there’s plenty to see and do before or after your visit to Loch Lomond Trails.

    • Luss General Store: There is a coffee counter located within Luss General Store where you can choose from a selection of tea’s and coffee’s.

    • Scoff & Patter: Located beside the brewery, perfect for a tasty breakfast or snack.

    • The Wild Highland Coffee Shop: Located in the South Carpark, ideal for a warm drink before exploring.

  • Parking is available at Luss South Carpark for £2 per hour which is also where our check-in hut is located during the summer months. Additional public parking is available around the village. Arriving early in busy seasons is recommended.

  • The Loch Lomond Arms offers family-friendly meals and is a great spot to relax and refuel. Is it also located right beside Luss South Car Park!

  • Yes! Picnic benches are available at the far end of Luss South Car Park, and there are also seating areas within Loch Lomond Trails.

  • Most areas of the village are pram friendly, although some paths and streets are cobbled or uneven.

  • There is a fantastic playpark located within the village, right beside Luss General Store.

  • Dogs are welcome in the village but should be kept on leads. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the Farm Park.

  • There’s plenty to enjoy in Luss after your trail adventure!

    • Boat Tours: Both Sweeney’s Cruises and Cruise Loch Lomond have boat tours that sail from Luss Pier, that explore the loch and its surrounding islands.

    • Water Activities: Loch Lomond Leisure offers kayaking, wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, waterskiing, and more.

    • 4x4 Adventures: Take the wheel of a Land Rover Defender and tackle rugged, steep tracks high in the Scottish hills — all with breathtaking views of Loch Lomond.

    • Luss General Store: Find stylish, Scottish-inspired gifts and handcrafted products, perfect for souvenirs or keepsakes.

    • Luss Village Store: Offers a mix of tourist items, snacks, and drinks for a quick pick-me-up while exploring the village.

  • Yes. Portable toilets are available in Luss South Car Park during the summer months. There are also toilets located at the Luss General Store.

  • Yes! Luss offers beautiful lochside walks, village strolls, and scenic viewpoints.

  • Most families spend half a day to a full day in Luss. With outdoor activities, food stops, village exploring, and time by the loch, it’s easy to fill a full day with fun.
