The Loch Lomond Scary Trail Returns for Halloween 2026!

The Loch Lomond Scary Trail is back in Luss from 2 October to 1 November 2026, and this year we have a brand new story for you: The Seven Spells of Glen Luss.

Follow the trail through our woods, solve the clues along the way and see if you can find all seven hidden spells. At the end you can say hello to our Highland cows and goats, and pick your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to take home and carve.

It is spooky rather than scary, so it is perfect for primary age children and easy going enough for the whole family. The trail is about a mile long and takes one to two hours, so there is plenty of time to enjoy it.

You will find us in Luss, just off the A82 and about 45 minutes from Glasgow. Park at Luss South Car Park, G83 8NX. Dogs are welcome on leads, although they cannot come into the farm area, and as the trail has steps and a few steep bits it is not suitable for wheelchairs or double buggies. Wellies and a waterproof are always a good idea in October.

Fancy dress is very welcome, so bring your wee witches and wizards along and we will see you on the trail!
